I know that life is often challenging and scary at times.

Balancing school, work, other expected responsibilities while entering adulthood can feel like being on a runaway train with no stops in sight. These type of stressors can make it feel difficult to be optimistic for the future, connect with our friends and family in the way we want to, and be authentic with ourselves.

I know these difficulties first hand. I am a first-generation student who paid my own way through school who also lost a parent unexpectedly. I live with the awareness of how life often grows around our struggles. Life forces us to keep up. It’s for these reasons that I’m a therapist. I want to extend a helping hand to you. I want to be a part of coming alongside you as you get your life back on track.

Whether it be for you or your struggling teenager or young adult, my hope is to create a safe space where we can sit with the pain you have been carrying and take steps towards healing and decreasing your overwhelm. If you find yourself increasingly isolated, lonely and scared, I get it. I would be honored to walk alongside you on this self acceptance journey. You don’t need to do this alone.

ABOUT ME

In my free time, I like to pursue new passions, including developing my skills as an amateur chef and baker, playing video games online with friends, and making small dents in my reading backlog that occupies my bookshelf (I love historical fiction and fantasy!). I also enjoy spending time with my two dogs as we chase one another around our backyard.

I believe that keeping a healthy balance between what I enjoy and my responsibilities helps me feel truly “me” as opposed to juggling too many hats (between being a therapist, son, friend, etc). The idea of balance is something I value highly and try to integrate it into both my sessions and daily life. In the same way, I strive to show compassion and understanding in my relationships. I hope that if I am fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work with you, that I can extend the same kindness.
