I see therapy as a journey home – home toward our best and truest selves.

Our truest selves have always existed underneath the many messages we receive about what we feel we must do in order to earn our value or be worthy of love. This process can be both painful and freeing, and in my own personal experience, is usually both harder and more worth it than I imagined. I also believe we are both formed and healed in relationships, which translates into the kinds of therapy and client work I most enjoy.

More specifically, I am especially passionate about helping couples in my therapy work. If you and your partner are navigating the transition to new parenthood,  are experiencing pre or post-partum depression/anxiety, or you’re managing the often intensive fertility process, or any kind of perinatal concerns, I would love to come alongside you both to help you navigate these often complex, emotionally draining issues that can put such strain on a couples’ relationship.

I have also found working with women on an individual basis who find themselves exploring their sense of self and identity to be very meaningful. Perhaps mental health concerns have forced you to explore yourself in new, unplanned ways because of painful life transitions. Perhaps you’ve been processing a divorce, a separation, a traumatic loss, or you need perinatal mental health support just for yourself.

No matter what brings you to make that first step to begin this therapy journey, I will approach our work together with openness, warmth, and compassion, with respect for the courage it takes to seek healing in the therapy space. I consider it a great honor to come alongside my clients who are taking a step forward on the journey toward growth and self-exploration.

ABOUT ME

Outside of my therapy work, I enjoy quality time with my husband, cat, and other loved ones. To keep me grounded, I find long walks and a regular practice of journaling and reflection to be essential. As a deep feeler, prioritizing time to process emotions and connect with myself in an open and compassionate manner have been transformative for me. I have a deep appreciation for morning coffee, animals, nature, and exploring new places.

Thank you for reading - I look forward to meeting you and working alongside you!
